Policies/FAQ

Q. How long do I have to complete my courses?

A. - Students study at their own pace, but must submit at least one student exam/report every 30 days in order to remain active. Students who violate course deadlines can be reinstated upon payment of a $50.00 reinstatement fee and placed on academic probation. Students with three periods of inactivity or students inactive for 60 days are dismissed from the program without being eligible for readmission. Classroom students will follow either a six week or eight week class schedule as directed by course instructor.

 

Q. How do I communicate with the school? 

A. - GBCS is an online school and all communications are handled by our global staff online or by email. Classroom students have weekly conferences with their classroom instructors on campus. Distance education students study independently.

 

Q. How do I submit my exams for grading?​

A. - All exams for undergraduate students are submitted online through our Online Testing Center using your username and password and students receive live time results once they submit their exams for grading. Most courses for graduate degree students are submitted by email.

 

Q. Are tuition payments refundable?

A. No. - Tuition payments are non-refundable.

 

Q. Do you offer classroom courses?

A. - No. All students study by distance education. But we may offer classroom courses at select locations through our Satelitte School Program through local churches/ministries.

 

Q. Do I have to pay full tuition or can I make payments?

A. - Students can either pay full tuition and receive a 10% discount or they can pay per course as they go.

 

Q. When can I register or enroll for courses?

A. - You can enroll at any time in our distance education programs online or by mail at any time throughout the year, as there is open enrollment year-round, for distance education students, who study independently at their own pace. Classroom courses are also available at select locations, when there are at least 10 students enrolled in the same course.

 

Q. Is there an annual graduation ceremony and how do I receive my degree otherwise?

A. - No. We issue all degrees either by email in pdf format @ $10.00 or by mail @ $125.00.

 

Q. How do I pay for my courses? 

A. - Courses can be paid for using a credit/debit card online through the payment link on the school site or we can send you an link for tuition and fees payments. Click here to submit tuition and fees payments.

 

Q. How long does it take for my courses to be uploaded or received?

A - Online courses are usually uploaded within 24 hours not including weekends and holidays. Courses by mail are usually received in 10 to 14 business days; not including holidays and weekends.

 

Q. How do I order my next course?

A. Once you have completed a course; you can order your next course using the Tuition Payment button on the school site or contact us for a tuition payment link.

 

Q. How do I receive my degree/transcript?

A. - (1) Students receive a complimentary copy of their Degree/Transcript by email in pdf format. (2) Students can also order a printed copy by mail @ $35.00 or (3) Students can order a copy with GBCS Blue Padded Vinyl - Gold Foiled Diploma Holder @ $175.00. We do not usually conduct in person graduation ceremonies; but may consider it if there are at least 10 students participating. Graduation fees for students participating in graduation ceremonies is $375.00. (Includes cap, gown, hood, transcript, degree, and diploma holder.)

 

Q. What happens if I have been inactive for more than 30 days?

A. - Your student record is placed on our Inactive Student Roster and you would have to pay a $50.00 reinstatement fee in order to be placed back onto to active student roster. Students inactive for more than 90 days are subject to dismissal from the program of study, as we only maintain student records of active students and graduates.

 

Q. Is GBCS accredited?

A. - Yes. GBCS is accredited by the International Association of Christian Schools. GBCS is "not" accredited by the U.S. Department of Education, nor do we seek to be accredited by any agency associated with the U.S. Department of Education or any other international governmental agency. All degrees issued by Grace Bible College & Seminary are designed solely for the purpose of providing training and education for those involved in or seeking to enter Christian ministry. Grace Bible College & Seminary is the official training school for ministers licensed and ordained for Christian ministry through the Ambassadors Ministerial Fellowship and Christ Universal Church. All of our degrees are intended solely for the purpose of Christian ministry and are not intended for any unrelated secular purposes.

 

Q. Are GBCS credits transferable to other schools? 

A. - You will need to check with the schools that you wish to transfer credits to, as GBCS serves as the official training institution for ministers licensed/ordained by the Ambassadors Ministerial Fellowship and Christ Universal Church. Each school has their own criteria for accepting credits from other institutions.

 

Q. I have a degree, but it is not ministry related. Can I still use it to enroll in your school?

A. - No. All students must have a ministry related degree in order to enroll in our Bachelors and higher degree programs. All students are accepted into our Certificate and Associates Degree programs, with no degree or per-requisite courses required.

 

Q. What is a Passing Grade and Grade Point Averages?

A

  • (90.0 -100) 3.50- 4.00 = A

  • (80.0 - 89.0) 3.00 - 3.49 = B

  • (70.0 - 79.0) 2.50 - 2.99 = C

  • (60.0 - 65.0) 2.00 - 2.49 = D

  • (59.0 or Less) = Unsatisfactory

 

Q. If I have a problem with login or a question about my courses. How can I contact the school?

A. - Our Support Center can be contacted by email at info@gbcs.education or through the Online Support Center during our business hours. Monday - Friday from 10:00am to 2:00pm EST.
